- You can register for a free 1 hour evaluation of Glovius on Virtual Desktop. An email will be sent after successful registration, with a link to start your session. Clicking on the link launches your evaluation session in a browser, with Glovius pre-installed and pre-configured for your use.
- Any files you upload in your evaluation session will be deleted after you close the session.
- To test your own data, you can Upload Files using the [My Files] tool.

1. Working with Glovius on Virtual Desktop

2. Downloading Files
You can save files from the browser to your Home Folder and then clicking any file on your Home Folder will download it to your local machine.
3. Exiting a Session
Click Profiles on the upper right of the [Glovius] window and use the End Session option to quit the session. Your browser session may also end if it times out, when you do not interact with it (by keyboard or mouse) for 10 minutes.
4. Which web browser should I use?
You can run Glovius for Virtual Desktop in any HTML5 compatible browser on your desktop/laptop. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge, are supported.
5. How fast should my internet be?
For best experience, a 20Mbps connection will be ideal, running on an HD resolution of 1920x1080.
6. How do I save my work?
During your browser-based session, any files created or modifications made to sample files are not saved on disk after the session is closed. The exception to this is files saved under the Home Folder location during your session.
7. If I get disconnected while working, will I lose my work?
If for any reason you get disconnected, your session will be preserved for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, your existing session will timeout.
8. What if I have performance trouble or errors during the evaluation?
- Check your internet connection quality using www.speedtest.net.
- Try a different web browser.
- Try reconnecting at a later time.
